My last two stops on my trip were Boston and New York City. I spent 2 and a half days in Boston, on the first day I visited several historical sights on the Freedom Trail - that is a path through the city, where a lot of sights are located. I also went on a short fare back so I could see Boston from a boat which was also nice.
The next day, I went to the Copley Square - there were a lot of small shops and at the square was also the Boston Public Library, which is the oldest library in the USA, as well as the Trinity Church. Furthermore, I went to the famous Acorn Street, which is the most photographed street in the USA, after that I went to the Riverside Park and on the evening I went for a run to the MIT.
On the last (half) day, I went on a tour (organized by the hostel I stayed in) to the famous Harvard University and learned about the history and specific events that occurred at that sight.
In the late evening I took a bus to New York City, where I spent another 3 and a half days. I went again to the Times Square, the Central Park, the High Line and the Bryant Park, as well as to Coney Island, Roosevelt Island, the East Riverside Park, the Madison Square, the Union Square and several other places. The most interesting though was the visit in a Gospel Church - it was really a nice experience to see how these masses are hold in NYC.
Finally, on Wednesday the 20th of May at around 8:40pm I caught a flight back home and with a short stop at Iceland I arrived at about 1pm on the next day in Munich and got picked up by my parents. And now I really need sleep :)

Spring Break - New York City (Week 30)
The second stop after Buffalo/Niagara in my Spring Break brought me to New York City :D! I spent 6 days there. On Monday I took a Greyhound Bus from Buffalo to NYC and arrived at about 9am in the morning. After a little bit walking around I found the Times Square and first of all chilled with a coffee there and looked a bit around. After taking a few pictures I started walking towards the Central Park. When I arrived I was really amazed how cool and huge this park is. There are a lot of small lakes, base ball fields, and much more. After I walked around for a long time, I checked in at the hostel, which was okay, but it was the oldest mattress I ever lied on I guess... I also went to Little Italy and China Town at the afternoon and met Lara (a Spanish student from Marshall) and her family, which was a huge coincidence, because we met just walking on the street in a city with about 8 million inhabitants! When I arrived back at the hostel, I met some Brazilian students from Marshall, that stayed at the same hostel than I did.
On Tuesday I went with the Brazilians first to the Memorial of the World Trade Center. After that we took the Ferry to Liberty Island where we took pictures with the Statue of Liberty and enjoyed the view to southern Manhattan. We also visited Ellis Island, where a long time ago all the immigrants had to go before they could enter the USA. We also went to the famous Brooklyn Bridge and saw the City Hall that is right beside the beginning of the bridge. Furthermore, we went to the Wall Street, took some pictures with the Charging Bull, went to the NYC Hard Rock Cafe and as it was St. Patrick's Day Erick and I went to an Irish Pub and had delicious Guinness Beer :).
On Wednesday I first visited the Imagine-Mandala and the Alice in the Wonderland Statue in Central Park and went to the Grand Central Terminal which was unexpected nice. I also went to the United Nations Headquarters and to Little Germany, but I couldn't find any German restaurant or other store there... After that I went to the Rockefeller Center and looked a little bit around there - I also met the Brazilians there and we went together to the Top of the Rock where we had a nice view over New York City. After we saw the sunset there and made some nice pictures of New York by night, we went to the Times Square and then back to our hostel.
On Thursday the Brazilians and I went to the Public Library in the morning. After that we tried to find Central Perk, the place where the TV series "Friends" played a lot of the time, but unfortunately we found out that this place closed down. After we had some interesting Japanese Crepes for lunch, we split up, as the Brazilians left to go back to Huntington. I went to Greenwich Village which is a neighborhood of the upper middle class and I also visited the Washington Square Park. Over all that was a nice part of New York City. At about 5:30pm I went to the Empire State Building and went up the 86th Floor to view again the city from far above the ground. It was again stunning :D.
On Friday I visited the Museum of Natural History. I am usually not so enthusiastic about museums, but that was the hugest I have ever seen. I spent there from about 11am to 5pm and still was not able to see all of it by far. It also began to snow heavily that day and I walked a little bit around in the Central Park and could see New York in snow which was also really nice. At night a lot of people from the hostel, I stay in, went to a night club called Pacha and so I also celebrated Spring Break a little bit like a typical student :D.
On Saturday I slept really long as the night before I came back late and then I went to the High Line. That is a park created on former train tracks that are elevated over the streets of southern Manhattan. It was a really nice, unconventionally park. After this, I went to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, which was also interesting (I found it much more interesting than the Natural Science Museum from Friday).
So that was the second part of my Spring Break. Tomorrow (Sunday) I have to go back to Huntington. I'll take a train and it will take about 15 hours!
